Salad fruit: Physalis is a small orange fruit similar in shape and size to a tiny tomato. However, a physalis has a papery covering that resembles a little lantern. This fruit is common in Mexico and is often used in salads.
High fortress: There is a mountaintop fortress on the Caribbean Island of Haiti called Citadelle Laferrière which was built in the early 1800s by 20,000 workers. It was originally constructed to guard against French invasions, which never occured.
First pencils: Pencils are enclosed in a casing of wood because the graphite inside is soft. When pencils were first made in the 1500s, the sticks of graphite were wrapped in string or sheepskin to prevent them from breaking.
Good musician: British musician Mick Jagger plays harmonica, guitar, keyboards, bass guitar and drums, but is probably best known for his voice as lead singer in the famous rock band, “The Rolling Stones.”
