Sky light: Many people are amazed when they witness the aurora borealis, more commonly known as the northern lights. This curtain of coloured light in the sky can also be seen in the Southern Hemisphere, where it is called the aurora australis or the southern lights.
Renamed: Renowned musician and entertainer, Prince, was born “Prince Rogers Nelson.” From 1993 to 2000, he changed his name to a symbol that no one could pronounce, so people started referring to him as “the artist formerly known as Prince.”
Two moons: The planet Mars, the fourth planet from the sun, has two moons, Phobos and Deimos. They were discovered in 1877 by Asaph Hall, an American astronomer. These moons are thought to be asteroids captured by the gravity of Mars.
Sea shelter: The Great Barrier Reef is located in the Coral Sea off the coast of Queensland, Australia. Known as the largest coral reef system in the world, it contains about 2,900 reefs and 900 islands and is home to many marine animals and species of fish.
