Long Stay: It is believed that dinosaurs lived on Earth for a period of 160 million years. They made their first appearance about 230 million years ago at the start of the Late Triassic Period, then disappeared about 65 million years ago at the end of the Late Cretaceous Period.
Old Teen: When he died at age 82 in 2012, Dick Clark was known as “the world’s oldest teenager.” That is because he always had a youthful appearance. He created and hosted American Bandstand, a weekly televised musical program, appealing to teens, which ran from 1957 to 1987.
Keyboards: The piano is one of several keyboard instruments. Others include the accordion and the organ. A less well-known example is the soft-sounding clavichord, which has horizontal strings that are struck by brass pins.
